
NORTON PRO Gullet measuring gauge
A single measurement to define the tree arch size corresponding to your horse’s morphology
For ERIC THOMAS HYBRID and NORTON PRO saddles
- Step 1: To obtain an accurate measurement, position your saddle on your horse in the correct place. On your horse’s back, make a mark at the location of the screws under the saddle.
- Step 2: Remove the saddle and place the tree arch gauge vertically on your mark.
- Step 3: Slide the tree arch gauge down until both contact surfaces rest on the horse, allowing for a proper measurement to be taken.
- Step 4: The tree arch gauge will indicate the size/color of the arch to use for your horse. It is recommended to repeat this process 3 to 4 times per year.
